01Day 1Bagdogra to Phuentsholing
Arrive at Bagdogra and travel to Phuentsholing. Evening at leisure.
02Day 2Phuentsholing to Thimphu
Complete the permit process and travel to Thimphu via Gedu and the river confluence at Chojum.
03Day 3Thimphu sightseeing
Visit Memorial Chorten and Tashichho Dzong viewpoints, Buddha Dordenma and the Takin reserve.
04Day 4Thimphu to Punakha
Cross Dochula Pass and visit Punakha Dzong. Stay in Punakha.
05Day 5Punakha to Paro
Travel to Paro and explore Paro Dzong, the airport viewpoint and town.
06Day 6Chele La or Tiger’s Nest
Choose the Chele La excursion or discuss an optional Tiger’s Nest trek. Visit the museum and Kyichu Monastery as arranged.
07Day 7Paro to Phuentsholing
Return to the border town, with time for shopping.
08Day 8Phuentsholing to Bagdogra
Transfer to Bagdogra Airport for the return journey.
